Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous herbal training to attend the Integrated Plant Medicine Immersion?

No, you do not. Erin’s approach to herbal medicine is unique and even with advanced training, you will benefit from this training. Some basic knowledge of plants, herbs and herbal medicine is helpful but not required.

Who benefits from the herbal training program? I am not a practising herbalist or health care provider. Is this program too intense for me?

This program is open to anyone who has a deep love of plants, healing, feeling nourished by the wild and has a calling for using and connecting with herbal traditions and practises.

I live a distance away from the Trillium Campus in the Concrete/Rockport area. Is there camping or housing available nearby?

There are many State Parks closely and plenty of Airbnbs in the area. Please inquire erin@trilliummedicine.net for a List.

I will be out of town for one of the in person weekend. Is there a make up class? Do I pay for that weekend even if I am not attending?

There are no make up classes. However, you will be provided with hand outs, all course material, access to plants that you may have missed harvesting and the help of fellow students for outside class tutorial. No refunds on classes missed- your tuition is not pro-rated for any missed class time.

Is there a payment plan available?

Please ask Erin about payment plans at your interview. There are arrangements that can be made as long as the program is 75% paid by the first day of class. Your $400 deposit goes directly to tuition with a balance of $2200 that can be paid in monthly installments. The sooner you enrol- the smaller the payments will be.

Is there a Certificate awarded for this training program?

Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Is there Continuing Education credits available for practitioners?

The Herbal Bodywork training in July is nationally certified for CE’s. Many students have requested credits from their college for approval and most have been approved. Contact Erin for details.

I am a tribal member. Do you offer scholarships or work with tribes to provide funding?

Please contact Erin directly for tribal funding and scholarships. erin@trilliummedicine.net. This program has graduates in a number of local tribal communities. Erin is a (adopted) member of the Tlingit tribe in SE Alaska.
