Learn physical, emotional, and spiritual solutions to pain here in this hands on-class exploring wild and cultivated herbs for healing.

Topics covered in the course:
Herbs useful for pain; how to prepare mineral-rich herbal infusions to build bone and muscle strength and the therapeutic actions of plants used topically
Methods of Application in Massage Treatment and for self-care: How to safely and effectively apply herbs to the body using water based and oil based remedies.
Self-applied trigger point therapy for shoulder pain, self Psoas stretches and herbs that support the lumbar region
Understanding the physiology of pain
Movement for lymphatic support
Herbal cryotherapy for TMJ
Somatic responses to plants used internally
Safety, ethics, charting, and dosage
Class time includes practice applying remedies to reduce inflammation, stop the pain response, and address connective tissue stagnation & lymphatic movement.
Two Options For Learning!
This is part of a professional training program but is open to all. No massage or herbal training required.
Option one: Workshop only ($400 for up to 4 students)
Option two: for Licensed Massage Therapists. Includes workshop and 5 Continued Education Credits. (Add $25.00 per student for admin CE fees.)
About Your Instructor:
Erin Vanhee, LMT, Herbalist has been teaching herbalism and plant medicine since 1993. Erin has taught classes at numerous community healing centers in the US and Canada, including Bastyr University, Pacific Women’s Herbal Conference, Three Rivers Herbal Gathering, many times at the NW Herb Fair, AHG Wa Chapter Green Gathering, and Plant Healer’s Good Medicine Confluence.

Refunds will gladly be given minus a 20% processing fee up to 14 days before a community workshop. We have a no refunds policy for cancelling 14 days or less before a workshop and for no-shows.
