Integrated Plant Medicine Immersion 2027

Begins February 20/21, 2027, meeting in person one full weekend per month through September 2027, Saturday 10:00-5:00, Sundays 10:00-3:00. 8 month training program with 100 hours in person hands on, practical training, home study projects and some online material to maintain growth in between classes.
Tuition is $2650.00. Includes Over 100 hours of in person training, 8 months of online content, all wild and cultivated plants used in your training, extensive hand outs, personal and group access for support/mentoring.

Trillium’s herbal immersion program is in-depth, personal and experience based with the goal of providing enough practical, hands on training in the field and in the apothecary to allow you to begin or advance your herbal practice.

This immersion is based on the traditional herbal apprenticeship model and is not a series of power points and classroom learning. We study in the field, in forests, wetlands, beaches, and river beds to become fluent in plant identification, taxonomy, materia medica, herbs for body systems and, most importantly, medicine making excellence and confidence in application. Studying through three seasons allows you to view the plants in the Spring through Fall and learn how the cycles create different medicines and different applications depending on the plant and the season.

Apothecary studies are dictated by the season. In spring we explore body system health and rejuvenation through nourishment with all the water based remedies, vinegars and tonics, summer is the peak of blooms with medicine made into tincture and oil and of course the vibrational magic of the flower essence. Fall is when we bring it all together and learn how to support our immune systems, understand common ways of supporting ourselves with acute vs chronic conditions and harvest the end of season roots, seeds and berries.

Woven through the course is the importance of holding space and moving from a keeper of medicine to a giver of medicine. Deep listening skills, drop dosing and pulse reading, first aid and topical methods of relieving pain and discomfort are part of the curriculum to allow you to practice, practice, practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous herbal training to attend the Integrated Plant Medicine Immersion?

No, you do not. Erin’s approach to herbal medicine is unique and even with advanced training, you will benefit from this training. Some basic knowledge of plants, herbs and herbal medicine is helpful but not required.

Who benefits from the herbal training program? I am not a practising herbalist or health care provider. Is this program too intense for me?

This program is open to anyone who has a deep love of plants, healing, feeling nourished by the wild and has a calling for using and connecting with herbal traditions and practises.

I live a distance away from the Trillium Campus in the Concrete/Rockport area. Is there camping or housing available nearby?

There are many State Parks closely and plenty of Airbnbs in the area. Please inquire erin@trilliummedicine.net for a List.

I will be out of town for one of the in person weekend. Is there a make up class? Do I pay for that weekend even if I am not attending?

There are no make up classes. However, you will be provided with hand outs, all course material, access to plants that you may have missed harvesting and the help of fellow students for outside class tutorial. No refunds on classes missed- your tuition is not pro-rated for any missed class time.

Is there a payment plan available?

Please ask Erin about payment plans at your interview. There are arrangements that can be made as long as the program is paid by the first day of class. Your $400 deposit goes directly to tuition with a balance of $2250 that can be paid in monthly installments. The sooner you enrol- the smaller the payments will be.

Is there a Certificate awarded for this training program?

Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
