Foundations in Herbal Practice | 4 Month Training Program
Designed to build a foundation of herbal knowledge using traditional and modern concepts of western and somatic herbalism.
Foundations meets the second weekend of every month - one weekend per month October 10, 2026- January 2027 at the Wild Valley Wellness Center in Burlington, Washington.
Training includes:
Physiology for Herbalists
Detailed materia medica for individual body systems.
Introduction to Somatic Herbalism- the use of drop dose testing for specific remedies
Hands on herbal applications of adjunct therapies for respiratory illness, musculoskeletal system and herbal first aid.
An understanding of basic herbal medicine making is recommended or sign up for the October Herbal Medicine Making Class through Trillium.
Tuition is $1200.00 includes all plants used in class, extensive hand outs.

TUITION
Covers all in person training, handouts, plants and materials used in class.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
Classes are held at the Wild Valley Wellness Center in Burlington, WA. Some dates may include outdoor excursions via carpool, weather permitting. Classes are held 10:00-4:00 each day, Saturday and Sunday. There are no make up days for missed classes.
Housekeeping/ CLASS REFUND POLICY
Deposits and tuition payments are non-refundable, for ANY reason. Your tuition may be transferred to another class with Erin’s approval if circumstances are deemed unpreventable.
WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS
In the rare case of weather related road conditions- Classes are held via Zoom in the case of snow/ice where travel is a safety concern.
